Common Questions

Is Eminence TCG really free?

Yes. You get a full starter deck when you sign up, and you can earn Gold, packs, and new cards by playing matches. Optional Stripe purchases speed things up if you want, but every card in the game is earnable through play alone.

What platforms can I play on?

Any modern browser (desktop or mobile — try it on your phone right now). An Android build is available on itch.io if you'd rather install the app.

How does the game work?

Two players. Each brings a deck built around a single Leader (the base card that sets your classes and race). You deploy Units to claim Areas, spend spells and gear to shift the fight, and race to earn 10 Fame. Matches take about 10–15 minutes.

How do I earn cards?

Match wins pay Gold. Gold buys packs. Duplicate cards convert to Essence, which you spend to craft any specific card you're missing. There's no lockbox gambling — you always know what you're getting.

Is there in-person play?

Yes — that's the whole other half of Eminence. Play at your local shop, report the result in-app, and earn Renown that tracks separately from your digital ladder. Stores become their own "kingdoms" with their own standings. This piece is early — details rolling out with the physical release.

Can I buy the physical cards?

Yes — printed starter decks and boosters are available right now in the shop. Real cards, printed with love, ready to hit the table. Play them anywhere with anyone.
